Heavy Jet Charter in Greenfield, IN
When the group is big or the trip is long, a heavy jet gets everyone there in one hop. Stand-up cabins, room to sleep and range for coast-to-coast or overseas flights. We quote the trip point to point, all-inclusive, so you know the real number before you commit.
What a Heavy Jet Is and When It Makes Sense
A heavy jet is the largest class of business aircraft we charter. Think Gulfstream, Falcon and Global type cabins. Most seat somewhere between 10 and 16 passengers, with a galley, a full lavatory and seats that fold flat. They carry enough fuel to fly very long legs without stopping.
It is not the right aircraft for every trip. For a two-hour hop with four people, a light jet or midsize jet costs far less and does the job. A heavy jet earns its price on long routes, on trips over water and when you are moving a full team or a large family with real luggage.
We look at the whole trip, not just the hourly rate. One nonstop leg can beat a smaller jet that needs a fuel stop, once you count the extra time on the ground, the added landing fees and a tired group arriving late. Some trips go the other way, and when they do we tell you.
What Comes With a Heavy Jet Charter
All-inclusive quote
Your quote covers the aircraft, the crew, fuel, standard airport and FBO fees and taxes. No hidden costs show up after the flight.
A cabin you can work or rest in
Heavy jets have stand-up headroom and separate seating areas. On overnight legs, seats lay flat or convert to beds so people land rested.
WIFI equipped aircraft
We can source WIFI equipped aircraft so you can stay on email or calls in the air. Tell us if you need it and we will build it into the quote.
Room for pets and bags
Pets are allowed, and the cargo hold on a heavy jet takes golf bags, ski gear and long-trip luggage without a fight.
Catering and ground details
We arrange catering and can set up a car at the FBO on both ends. Special requests get added to the quote up front.

Signs a Heavy Jet Is the Right Call
- You are flying more than about five hours
- Smaller jets may need a fuel stop on long routes. A heavy jet usually flies straight through.
- The group is 10 or more
- Splitting a group across two smaller jets often costs more than one large cabin. It also means two schedules to manage.
- You are crossing an ocean
- Transatlantic and other long overwater flights call for heavy jet range. The extra fuel reserve is the reason.
- People need to sleep on board
- Red-eye departures and long legs are much easier with flat seats and space to stretch out.
- The trip is tight on time
- Board time sensitive meetings or a family situation that can't wait on airline schedules. We answer the phone around the clock, 24/7.
How Your Heavy Jet Trip Comes Together
- 1
Tell us the trip by phone
We ask where you are going, how many passengers, the bags, any pets and your timing. It takes a few minutes.
- 2
We compare aircraft and send the number
We check available heavy jets and, when it fits, a super-midsize jet too. You get an all-inclusive quote with the reasons behind our pick.
- 3
Confirm and we lock it in
Once you approve, we confirm the aircraft and crew, set catering and ground transport, and send your departure details.
- 4
Departure day at the FBO
You drive to the private terminal, skip the airline lines and board close to your departure time. Heavy jets need longer runways, so we use an airport that fits the aircraft, usually a short drive from Greenfield.
What Sets the Price of a Heavy Jet Trip
Heavy jets carry the highest hourly rate of any class, so small details add up. We quote point to point, so you only pay for the flights you are on, and a one-way trip is never billed at round trip pricing.
- Route and flight hours
- Most of the cost is time in the air. Going nonstop can mean fewer total hours than a smaller jet that has to stop.
- Where the jet starts
- If the aircraft has to fly in empty to pick you up, those hours can show up in the price. We look for jets close by to keep it down.
- Layover days and crew lodging
- Holding the jet for several days adds crew hotel and daily fees. Two one-way flights can cost less, so we quote both.
- International trips
- Flights abroad add customs, permits and overseas handling fees. They go into the quote before you book.
- Peak travel dates
- Holidays and big event weekends leave fewer jets open. Booking early gives us more aircraft to choose from.
Heavy Jet Charter, Answered
- How many people fit on a heavy jet?
- Most seat about 10 to 16, based on the model and how the cabin is set up. When everyone needs a bed for an overnight leg, plan on a few less, and we build that in.
- Is a heavy jet worth the extra cost over a super-midsize?
- For long overwater flights or large groups, it usually is. Six people on a domestic trip often get better value from a super-midsize. If the call is close, we price both so you can see the difference.
- Do I have to book a round trip?
- No. We price point to point, so a one-way flight is quoted one way. Nothing to sign up for before you fly and no long term commitments.
- Can our dog fly with us?
- Yes, pets are allowed. Let us know how many and how big when you call, so the aircraft and crew are prepared. This matters most on international trips that need pet paperwork.
- How much notice do you need?
- More lead time means more aircraft to choose from, but we can work with short notice. Heavy jets are scarcer than smaller ones, so call as soon as your dates are firm.
