ServicesLight Jet Charter

Light Jet Charter from Greenfield

For a few people flying a few hundred miles to a nearby city, a light jet fits. It has jet speed and a cabin to yourselves, without empty seats on the bill. Give us the details of the trip and we will quote it point to point.

When to choose a light jet

A light jet holds roughly four to seven passengers. Most are designed for one to three hours of flying, enough to reach much of the Midwest and a good part of the East Coast from central Indiana. They cruise high and quick, and they fit shorter runways that bigger jets pass over.

What you give up is room. Seating is close, most models do not let you stand fully upright, and there is not much space for bags. A small lavatory comes on some and not on others. On a day trip for a meeting or a weekend with a few bags, this seldom gets in the way.

We price the full trip, not only the rate per hour. A light jet is usually cheaper by the hour than a midsize, yet a big group or a route long enough for a fuel stop can tip the value toward a larger aircraft. We tell you which side your trip lands on.

What comes with your light jet charter

One price that covers it all
Flight time, fuel, the crew, landing and FBO fees, and taxes are all in your quote. Nothing hidden gets added once you land.
Priced point to point
Your bill covers only the legs you fly. A one-way trip is never charged round trip pricing.
The right aircraft for the trip
Before suggesting any aircraft, we compare your passengers, bags and distance with its actual range and cabin. When a light jet would be too cramped, we tell you.
Pets and staying online
Pets can come on board. Need to work during the flight? Ask, and we will search for WIFI equipped aircraft on your route.
Nothing long term
Each trip is booked on its own. No account to pay into and nothing that renews.

When a light jet suits the trip

  • Only a few people are flying

Groups of two to six fit best. Beyond that, a midsize jet gives each person more space for little extra per seat.

  • You are in the air a few hours at most

Light jets do their best work on short and mid-length legs. A longer route can call for a fuel stop, which costs time and money.

  • You plan to be home tonight

Fly out in the morning, handle the meeting and be back for dinner. Cutting out airline connections saves the most time.

  • You are landing at a small airport

A light jet fits plenty of regional airfields near your real destination, rather than a large hub an hour away by car.

  • Your bags are few

Carry-ons and some soft bags pack in easily. Skis, golf clubs or many hard cases may mean a midsize or super-midsize jet is the better choice.

What moves the price of a light jet charter

Most of the cost is flight time, but several other things change the final number. We list each one in your all-inclusive quote so you can see where the money goes. That makes it easier to compare a light jet against a larger aircraft on value, not just sticker price.

Distance and flight time

Longer flights cost more, and a route that needs a fuel stop adds time on the ground and in the air.

Where the aircraft is based

If the closest available jet has to fly in to pick you up, that positioning time can be part of the price. A nearby aircraft keeps it down.

Overnight and wait time

If the crew waits at your destination overnight or for several days, expect crew and parking costs. Sometimes two one-way trips work out better, and we will check.

Dates and demand

Holidays, big sporting events and short notice can tighten supply. Booking ahead gives you more aircraft to choose from.

How booking and flight day work

  1. 1

    Tell us the trip

Give us dates, times, passenger count, bags and any pets. We take calls around the clock, so a trip that came up tonight is fine to ask about.

  2. 2

    Get your quote by phone

We source available light jets and walk you through the options and what each one costs, all-inclusive. If a turboprop or a larger jet makes more sense, we tell you that too.

  3. 3

    Confirm and get your details

Once you confirm, we send the departure time, the FBO address and the tail number of your aircraft.

  4. 4

    Arrive and board

Pull up to the FBO a little before departure. There is no terminal line. You meet the crew, load your bags and go.

Light jet charter, answered

How many people fit in a light jet?

Most models seat four to seven. A full cabin feels tight, especially on longer legs. Each aircraft we quote comes with its real seat count and cabin height.

How far can a light jet fly without a fuel stop?

About two to three hours suits most trips, depending on the model, the weight on board and the weather. Full seats and heavy bags cut that range. We check it before quoting, so a fuel stop never surprises you on flight day.

Is a light jet cheaper than a midsize?

Per hour, usually yes. Per seat on a long, full flight, a midsize can come out about even or lower because it is faster and flies nonstop. If the two are close, you get a quote for each.

Can I bring my dog?

Yes, pets are allowed. On the call, let us know how many and their size. We will confirm with the operator and keep cabin space for them.

Do I pay for a return leg on a one-way trip?

No. We price point to point, so one way is billed as one way, never as a round trip. If your dates can flex, ask about empty leg flights too.
